Pan American Highway Expeditions

A Road That Crosses Continents

This expedition connects the Americas from top to bottom. An extensive overland journey that unfolds over several stages, crossing two continents—and optionally a third with Antarctica included. Over thousands of kilometers, we travel from the rugged north of Alaska to the southern tip of South America, passing through wildly different landscapes, cultures, and climates along the way.

Rather than one long continuous trip, the journey is divided into manageable expedition legs, each with its own character and highlights:

  • Part 1: Seattle – Anchorage (May 17 – June 27, 2026)
  • Part 2: Seattle – Mexico City (September 12 – October 23, 2026)
  • Part 3: Mexico City – Panama City (January 5 – February 8, 2027)
  • Part 4: Cartagena – Cusco (April 11 – May 22, 2027)
  • Part 5: Cusco – Santiago (August 1 – September 4, 2027)
  • Part 6: Santiago – Ushuaia (November 1 – December 5, 2027)
  • Part 7: Antarctica Extension (December 7 – December 22, 2027)

Each expedition can be booked on its own, making it possible to join only the section that suits your timing and interests. For those who want to go all in, the complete north-to-south route offers a rare opportunity to experience the full scale of the Americas in one continuous overland story.

Seattle – Anchorage

part 1

Start your Pan American journey with 6 weeks through western Canada and into the Alaskan wilderness. From the alpine beauty of the Rockies to the remote reaches of the Yukon, this leg is packed with mountains, glaciers, wildlife, and winding gravel roads.

From the very first mile, the scenery will leave you breathless: turquoise lakes, jagged peaks, and national parks like Banff and Jasper. Stop whenever you need to soak it in, every corner of this route looks like a postcard! As we continue north through British Columbia into the Yukon, the roads take us deeper into the wilderness. Drive the legendary Dempster Highway beyond the Arctic Circle, with endless skies, vast forests, and the chance to spot bears, caribou, moose, and even wolves. Here, wild camping is more than a night under the stars. It’s off-grid freedom!

Explore the wild north

Crossing into Alaska, the landscapes grow even more dramatic. Dense forests, towering mountains, and roads that stretch seemingly forever create the perfect backdrop for adventure. Along the way, enjoy unforgettable activities: land on Denali Glacier in a bush plane, hike through national parks, visit abandoned gold mines, and cruise past glaciers the size of cities. Every day brings moments that make you feel small, and fully alive.

Leg 1 sets the stage for the rest of your Pan American journey: wild landscapes, real freedom! This isn’t a regular holiday. It’s an expedition you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

After completing this leg, the trucks will be shipped from Anchorage to Seattle, ready to continue with Leg 2.

Follow Up Expedition

Seattle to Mexico City

Leg 1 is only the start of the adventure. Five more expeditions along the Pan American Highway are already planned (not included in this leg’s price). Want to continue your journey? The next leg takes you from Seattle to Mexico City, offering new landscapes, cultures, and experiences to explore.

To make things easy, we can arrange secure storage for your expedition vehicle (price on request). Your truck will be kept safe and ready for you to pick up when the next leg starts in September: no shipping hassle in between.

You can book each expedition separately, but for the full Pan American experience, we recommend combining them. Every leg adds more adventure, more landscapes, and more memories. The journey only gets better!
