It goes without saying that we\u2019ll travel the most gorgeous roads in the area. Via a beautiful route, also used during the World Rally Championships, we\u2019ll be braving the rough wintery conditions on the road to Mo i Rana. Because from Mo i Rana onwards, the roads regularly become hard to pass or completely impassable due to winds and frozen sea mist, we\u2019ll be charting our course towards the east. After all, if you\u2019re on a Bliss Mobil Expedition, it\u2019s not about how fast you get from point A to point B, it\u2019s what you see, do and experience while you\u2019re on the road. During this month, there are relatively a lot of explosions on the sun and chances are significant that you\u2019ll be able to see the aurora borealis dancing in the sky. The spectacular show of colours varying from neon green to fuchsia purple is a mystical and extraordinary experience that is bucket list material for many a traveller. That\u2019s why, before we\u2019ll be heading up the coast across the peninsulas, we\u2019ll also be crossing the area that gives us the highest chance of seeing the northern lights. So if we\u2019re lucky enough, we might bear witness to this exceptional natural phenomenon several times during our expedition.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">There\u2019s more on our to-do-list filled with special activities than spotting the northern lights: from <strong>spending the night on the high plains <\/strong>to <strong>high speed driving on a frozen lake <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>ice fishing<\/strong>. Weather permitting, we will board a rib boat in one of the pretty villages of Vester\u00e5len in search of <strong>whales<\/strong>. These giants of the sea swim between the fjords in wintertime, searching for delicious snacks to regain their strength after their trek of thousands of kilometres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As you can see, this expedition is comprised of <strong>highlights only<\/strong>. Not just as far as experiences go, but that includes the route and challenges as well. After all, we\u2019re on our way to the northernmost point of the European continent, and that means you can\u2019t just sit back and relax all the time. Dozens of wintery adventures await you during the last leg of the expedition. We\u2019ll continue over the wintery roads towards Finland, where we\u2019ll be filling our days with various unexpected winter activities.<\/p>\n<p>After a challenging and unforgettable polar adventure, the time has come to finish it in style: on the Arctic Circle in a beautiful log cabin in the wilderness near Rovaniemi.
