Namibia is perfect for those wanting a more <\/span>remote experience<\/span><\/strong>. We’ll take you to Namibia’s most remote reaches: from the best part of the <\/span>Skeleton Coast<\/span><\/strong> to <\/span>Damaraland<\/span><\/strong> and <\/span>Kunene<\/span>. And believe us, Namibia’s desert skies are legendary! You’ll experience that yourself while sleeping under a blanket of a million stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

After arriving in Walvis Bay, the expedition starts after a short transfer in the moon landscape near Swakopmund. We soon get off the beaten track and head north over miles of beaches to the Skeleton Coast. The Skeleton Coast connects the northern part of Namibia with the Atlantic Ocean and is home of the largest breeding place of cape fur seals and countless shipwrecks. The <\/span>desert lions<\/span><\/strong> and <\/span>elephants<\/span><\/strong>, that survive Namibia’s harshest drylands, are also found exclusively within the Skeleton Coast and Damaraland region. From Skeleton Coast Park we drive into Damaraland in search of the <\/span>black rhino<\/span>. On foot. That’s not only the best way to spot them, but also a unique experience. Keep your eyes peeled, because when we continue our way after the rhino safari<\/strong>, you can also encounter <\/span>zebras, giraffes, kudus or springboks <\/span><\/strong>on your way. The next days of the trip are all about wildlife as we continue northeast to <\/span>Etosha National Park<\/span><\/strong>: one of the largest national parks in Africa. Time to spot all the animals that we have not yet checked off our list! Here you have the chance to see four of the <\/span>big five<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

After our wildlife adventure we head south through riverbeds and soft sand through the interior of Namibia, where landscapes are constantly changing, giving you a very diverse experience. Via ‘the forgotten trails’ we eventually drive to Spitzkoppe, one of Namibia’s significant mountain peaks. Of course it is not just hard work behind the wheel. You\u2019ll also make the most fantastic memories outside of the expedition truck.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ps. Do you have an extra 3 or 6 days? Expedition 4<\/a><\/span> <\/span>(July 26 to August 9, 2022) starts in Swakopmund (Namibia) and ends in Maun (Botswana). This expedition therefore takes 15 days in stead of 12 days. For expedition 4 there is the possibility to extend the trip by 3 extra nights with a visit to the Okavango Delta.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In 2022 there will be 7 rental expedition trucks available with a 13 Foot High Bed Bliss Mobil unit presented on a well-equipped Mercedes-Benz Atego 1018 4\u00d74; extremely suitable for remote and independent travel. This means that everyone can now fulfill their travel dreams. Carefree.<\/span><\/p>\n

The expedition truck not only takes you from A to B, but thanks to the well-equipped unit and all its features, you can also stay anywhere in luxury. In the African desert, at altitude, the rainforest: no matter where you are, you can sleep comfortably, cook, shower, enjoy the sunset or warm your feet with the underfloor heating. This exceptional combination of luxury and adventure is true bucket list material.<\/span><\/p>\n
